The Ridge Meadows Speed Skating Association has hosted an annual technical summer camp since 2008. The camp is fun and exciting, and open to skaters from any club. For people interested in the sport, the Learn to Skate Mini Camp is available August 2,4,6, from 9-11am at Planet Ice, Maple Ridge. The Camp often hosts guest coaches, including Jonathan Guilmette, Qi Mengyao, and Annie Sarat.

Learn to Speed Skate Summer Mini Camp

Ever wanted to learn to speed skate like the skaters that won nearly half of Canada's gold medals in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic games? The Learn to Speed Skate Summer Mini Camp is a perfect opportunity to learn. This camp runs three days, at Planet Ice, Maple Ridge. The camp is designed for participants aged 4-18, and provides a chance for aspiring athletes to get off on the right foot with professional coaches.
