BC Speed Skating Association (BCSSA)
Each province governed by a provincial organization. British Columbia Speed Skating Association (BCSSA) promotes and supports both short track and long track speed skating throughout the province. The BCSSA website is a helpful resource.
Speed Skating Canada (SSC)
The governing body is Speed Skating Canada (SSC), which was founded in 1887 in Montreal. It is a member of the International Skating Union (ISU), which is the international governing body for speed skating and figure skating. Speed Skating Canada website is available in both English and French.
Patinage de vitesse Canada (PVC)
L’organe directeur est de Patinage de vitesse Canada (PVC), qui a été fondée en 1887 à Montréal. Il est membre de l’Union internationale de patinage (ISU), qui est l’organisme international pour le patinage de vitesse et le patinage artistique.
